I'm one sore chica today. I had the coed ultimate frisbee tournament, Gandy Goose, in Bend, Oregon on Saturday and Sunday. The weather on Saturday was chilly in the morning, but warmed up in the afternoon, and I have a sunburned face. Sunday morning was extremely windy & cold; but the wind died down by the 2nd game and we got the disc under control.
Our team, the Ladybugs, came in first place in our division. We lost all 4 games on Saturday, but came back on Sunday and won all 4 games. We beat another Boise team in the final game 13-10. I had some good defensive layouts and have a few warrior wounds to show.
Overall, it was a great trip and made some great friends out of it. The next tournament is the first weekend of May in Salt Lake and I'm pumped.
