Aloha Portland!

I'm sitting in the Portland airport for the next two hours. There is a gentleman playing jazz music on a grand piano. It's one of the more pleasant sounds I can hear in the aiport. I'm sitting next to a Starbucks hearing the travelers talk about where their journeys are going to take them. I have to say- I think I have more of the exciting trips out of all of them :) I have a 6 hour flight ahead of me, the longest I have ever taken. I'm used to the short 45 minute flights up to Spokane & back to Boise. This is definately going to test my patience!

Ive known about this trip for two weeks - but I procrastinated until the very last minute to do anything. Yesterday was frantic doing errands and last minute things. This morning I was rushing to get everything put together and I only forgot 2 things... 2 critical things... my toothbrush & makeup!! Luckily, my gf who will be joining me is going to stop at my house and bring it with her when she leaves Boise.
